The failure of the Los Angeles city analysts to answer some of the questions from Councilman Rosendahl before contract negotiations may be understandable, but the inability to answer one particular question is absurd:
What other convention centers have stadiums attached?
Without an answer to this question, it is impossible to judge whether the idea makes enough sense to proceed to negotiations. Studying these cities experience of whether a combination is beneficial or detrimental to the operation of each venue is crucial to deciding whether to continue any further discussion of the downtown stadium. Clearly Rosendahl does not care whether Peoria has a stadium and convention center combination, but wants to know how many of the limited number of major sports stadiums have adjacent convention centers. 31 NFL stadiums, it would take about 31 minutes (or less) to answer that question
