Perry suggesting actions by Bernanke could be treason

Perry suggested that Bernanke might be committing treason if the Federal Reserve took certain actions between now and the election. For Bernanke to fail to act according to Federal Reserve policy (since the Federal Reserve is totally outside the control of the President) in order to aid the US economic recovery would be treason.

Perry certainly knows about treason from the other side:

In March 2009, Perry said Texans have a “different feeling about independence.”

“When we came into the nation in 1845, we were a republic, we were a stand-alone nation,” the governor can be heard saying, according to Politico. “And one of the deals was, we can leave anytime we want. So we’re kind of thinking about that again.”

Perry needs review the history lesson on the Civil War (or the War Between the States) and what happened when Texas left the first time.
